Went there today for the first time and had the fried green tomato sandwich. It was really good. The service was fast and friendly. Prices can't be beat. Will definitely go back.

For a northerner in a Deep South town and place, this eatery was a adventure in dining and pleasant people watching too. There is a buffet here. We came at an off time for a very late lunch...so it was hard to judge the buffets merits fairly...so we ordered off the menu. The ice tea is RIGHT. What you need to know: Local stop and chat buffet and menu kinda place. Staff is real personable and fast. Zoom. My husband had the shrimp poor-boy and I the Reuben w fried green tomatoes and (both lunch menu items were good). The Ruben was too salty for my tastes, as the fried green tomatoes...noting dousing the said luncheon, in Louisiana Tabasco sauce cured any curing. Something interesting: you could see by the wood paneling throughout the restaurant was sun stained, leaving geometric shapes where art may have represented upon the walls. The answer was the original owner, when she sold the place, took the artwork. I inquired if the former artwork represented the flower magnolia, the eateries namesake, but I was informed it did not. So if you are on the road between jaunts, like we were, give this place a try. Friendly, authentic and darn good ice tea.

Server was Beth. Very pleasant, bubbly and right on top of things. Had dropped our motor home off for some new brakes and needed to kill some time. Stopped in here for some breakfast. Ordinary, pretty plain decor. Right off Hwy 59. We both ordered omelets with hash browns and toast. Typical diner food, nothing spectacular but good. Excellent prices. Excellent service. Never had to ask for coffee refills. Beth was right on top of it.

Ok we were looking for a place to get breakfast and I remembered seeing this place and we were close by. I don't know why some cooks can't cook over medium eggs but this one could not. My wife returned hers just to have them over cooked. The bacon was cold the rye toast was great. We would no go back.

Had breakfast here this morning i orderd the skillet it was very good and more than enough food great place to stop on your way to gulf shores they have a breakfast buffet or you order off the menu . Enjoy !!!!

Love fri and sat for dinner - live country band at 5pm great country fried stake and fun with friends when im in the neighborhood. have had breakfast there once and that was real good too

Came into town for one of the many Mardi Gras parades. The staff is awesome. I had the shrimp and grits and absolutely loved it. What's even better, you get to talk to the Chef while you walk through the kitchen to the bathroom. The owners are very personal and the price is great for the amount of food you get. We loved our meal.

We stumbled in because of the Yelp reviews and this place did not disappoint! We enjoyed the Sunday Buffet and it was excellent! Hope to stop in again soon. :)
